Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! No distance is to far!

Do you shoot digital or film?
Digital all the way. I shoot everything in colour and then I’ll change some into B/W afterwards.

What equipment do you use? Do you have a back-up?
I shoot 100% Nikon. Please see the “my bag” link for a list of my equipment. And yes, I always take a back up camera with me.

How long before the wedding should I book my photographer?
To avoid disappointment at least 6 – 12 months in advance. If you’re getting married in November – April I would say at least 12 months. Those are the most popular dates!

How do I make a booking?

  1. Check if I’m available on your date.
  2. Fill in the enquiry form on the connect page.
  3. Wait for my reply to see my pricing.
  4. Fill in the online booking form.
  5. Wait for my  a confirmation e-mail & invoice.
  6. Pay the 50% non refundable deposit to secure your date.
  7. I’m yours for the day!

What is the most important thing on the wedding day for you as a photographer?
Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and it’s going to go by even faster than you think! Therefore, it is vital that you feel comfortable with me, as your photographer. I would like you to relax and enjoy every moment! And know that I’ll be capturing your day for you to remember forever!

I have a very natural approach and I don’t like to be in the lime light. It’s your day and I want you to feel like a princess/queen/diva which ever you prefer :)

Do you work with an assistant?
Yes I do. We will be two people, so please ensure that you book a dinner/lunch for the both of us.

How much time do you need for photos?
For the best results I’ll need the following:

Decor shots: 30 min
(it’s best to do this before I come to you, because by the time I arrive at the reception all the guest will be there, the other option is to photograph this during the time you mingle with the guests. Before your couple photos.)
Bride before the ceremony: 1 hour
Ceremony: 30 min – 1 hour
Family & Group shots: 20 min – 30 min
Couple photos: 1 hour +
Reception: all depends on you…

Do you do table shots?
No unfortunately I don’t do table photos. I feel it’s rude to interrupt people as they are eating and a table full of glasses and plates do not result into the best shots :) I however be capturing individual people as they listen to speeches, laugh and enjoy the evening. If you do want big group shots, I suggest you dedicate a special corner or space to those photos. Get a nice couch or something interesting and then I will take a few group shots there during the evening.

Do you offer coffee table books?
The best one you have ever seen! My books are professionally laid out by a graphic designer. It is printed on thin, semi-gloss pages and bound with a hard, custom-printed cover. Everyone who has seen one wants one! To see what they look like visit my coffee table book page.

Do you use lighting equipment?
I love working with natural light, however where necessary I do use flash. Just a little tip: one of the best things you can do for great reception shots is create enough light in the reception area. Candles are not enough.

Do you only shoot weddings?
No! I also do family, engagement, portraits and lifestyle shoots.
