On saturdays there is the greatest little slow food (fresh goods) market in Stellenbosch at Bosman’s Crossing. The market is on from 9am to 2 if I’m correct and they sell lots of food goodies, such as olive oil, organic honey, fruits & vegetables, pestos and sauces, fresh waffles and crêpes, sushi and wine. It’s a great outing [...]
This is my last week in Dubai and then it’s back to South Africa for me. I’m quite looking forward to starting the next season of photography. But this last week I’ll just be chilling out with my mom in Dubai. The other day my mom took me to the Bastakia in Bur Dubai which is one of the city’s most picturesque heritage sites…it was around 50 degrees outside with high humidity, so these photos are just a few ones I could take before I almost fainted :)
Yesterday was my last day in London and I absolutely loved it. On my way back to the hotel I went a bit crazy…
As you know I’ve been in London for the past week…I’m leaving for Dubai tomorrow…just packed my bags and so I thought I have to post a few pics about my trip..but I’ve taken so many! And I’ve hardly had time to go trough them…so here are just 2 photos that had to go on for now, because they are typically London :) When I’m in Dubai I’ll have more time to edit, so then I’ll do a nice post with more photos…here are just 2 I really like…
I arrived in London on wednesday afternoon and haven’t had time to blog. It’s my first time in London and I’m really enjoying it. The city is so full of great things to photograph…I’ll upload a few pics as soon as I have some time…but for now you’ll have to wait :) Here is just [...]
On friday some friends and I drove to Plett for a friend’s wedding. I’ve never been on the garden route in winter, but it was so beautiful! All the farms were so green! And the whole weekend there were beautiful clouds in the sky. These shots were taken as we were driving with a little [...]
My boyfriend (iaan) and I were so privileged last week…we got photographed by Du Wayne in the back alleys of Cape Town. I met Du Wayne a few months ago and soon became one of my photography friends. I did a pregnancy shoot for Du Wayne and his wife Zani a few weeks ago and [...]
Last weekend a girl (Susan) from Jo’burg came to visit me. She’s starting her own photography business and she wanted to find out how I’ve been running mine, how I started and what advice I would give new beginners… It was quite intimidating as I wasn’t really sure what I could teach her, I’ve only been runnning [...]
I know this post is not directly related to my business or my regular photo shoots, but I just had to blog about this…My boyfriend’s birthday was a week ago and I organized a helicopter flip for him. Unfortunately it was raining the whole day and so we had to postpone until today. It was absolutely the greatest experience I’ve ever had. It was so much fun! (Special thanks to AD for making it possible!)
