One of my most favourite destination weddings has been featured in My Wedding Day! The wedding took place in the middle of the Kalahari Desert. It was soooo gorgeous!! If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re welcome to view it here.
The wedding day of Summi & Tasillo was celebrated at Cap Rocat in Mallorca islands, seriously one of the most spectacular venue’s I’ve ever seen! The event was a celebration of phenomenal style and true wedding bliss! Summi’s gorgeous Jimmy Choo’s were to die for and her dress something I can not even describe in words.
After the wedding ceremony at the Hilton hotel’s gorgeous cathedral, all the guest were shuttled back to Cap Rocat, to enjoy drinks on the terrace. The pre-drinks were followed by a turquoise inspired dinner party down in the courtyard. In short, it was just PERFECT!
The wedding of Summi & Talliso in Mallorca was one every photographer dreams of shooting! This wedding was a three day celebration on the Spanish Island of Mallorca. The pre-party on the Friday was at Puro Beach, a beach club with a phenomenal view, right on the ocean. The restaurant is furnished with modern, chic white interior which is one of my favourite styles!
All the guest were asked to wear white for the party, which of course made it a dream to photograph. Summi & Talliso welcomed all their guests as they arrived, while everyone enjoyed cocktails and snacks.
As you know by now Iaan and I were very fortunate to visit Mallorca Islands a few weeks ago, while second shooting for Claire Morgan from Austria. The first day in Mallorca Iaan, Claire and I visited Cap Rocat, one of the most impressive venue’s I’ve ever seen! The venue use to be a old military fortress and it was recently converted into a five star hotel.
Early the morning met with all the other service providers, to discuss the flow of Summi & Tassilo’s wedding day. Jeanette from Prime Moment Wedding Co-ordination did all the organizing and all three days was filled by ORF, an Austrian national tv station.
Walking around Mallorca with an iphone in my pocket :)
Iaan and I had the best three days in Palma City! Despite the fact that we don’t speak Spanish and almost missed our flight back, I loved it so much!! Palma is a really great place! The sun was shining all the time and we had ice-cream and mojito’s every day, which made me really happy! The city has the most beautiful cathedral and some cute shops. The first day in the city, we took a trip on the red bus to get a sense of direction and then we just walked through the streets, taking some pictures and popping into a few stores.
Today we reached the one year mark with The Pretty Blog. I can’t believe it’s been a full year!
I have to thank my awesome partner Nicola for all the amazing work she has been doing for the blog. I love working with her! They say you have to choose the people you work with wisely, even more carefully than you choose a life partner and I have to agree, this was a match made in heaven! Nicola is a blessing beyond my wildest dreams. I know this is only the first year of many more to come! Thank you Nicola for all your patience! For your hard work and you’re enthusiasm! The blog could not have been this awesome without you!
As I mentioned before, June was quite a crazy month for me. And now I just realized I totally forgot to blog the interview Sarie did with me in their June edition. Sarie did an article about Social Media and they asked to interview me about how I use it in my business. Social media is something I totally believe in and it’s something that has meant allot for me in my business.
We’ve been having so many good times here in Europe! Last weekend iaan and I shot a wedding in Mallorca Islands, which was so gorgeous! The island was tropical with amazing weather. I also shot a wedding in Munich under the Alps the past weekend and now I’m preparing for the Munich workshop, which starts on Wednesday. So loads of photos still to come :)
There I was sitting nervously trying to remember the questions I wanted to ask Carmen & Ingo and I din’t look up to see iaan’s anxious waving hand, trying to tell me I’m already live on KIKI TV! So, if you want to see the absolute failing start to our first KIKI TV show from Europe, you have to watch this one :)
