On friday some friends and I drove to Plett for a friend’s wedding. I’ve never been on the garden route in winter, but it was so beautiful! All the farms were so green! And the whole weekend there were beautiful clouds in the sky. These shots were taken as we were driving with a little [...]
My boyfriend (iaan) and I were so privileged last week…we got photographed by Du Wayne in the back alleys of Cape Town. I met Du Wayne a few months ago and soon became one of my photography friends. I did a pregnancy shoot for Du Wayne and his wife Zani a few weeks ago and [...]
This morning I drove through to Wellington to do a photo shoot of Matise a cute little baby boy..
Today I had the best couple shoot ever! Du Wayne is a photographer I met a few months ago and today I had the privilege of shooting him and his wife, Zani in the streets of Stellenbosch. I wanted to do something a bit more urban and rustic than vineyards and gardens and I think the results are great.
It’s always great to get emails from former clients. Since the launch of my new website I haven’t posted any emails or thank you’s from clients. I thought I’ll just post a few about what people have said…
Dear Christine
Johan and I would like to thank you for the beautiful photos you took on our wedding [...]
Last weekend a girl (Susan) from Jo’burg came to visit me. She’s starting her own photography business and she wanted to find out how I’ve been running mine, how I started and what advice I would give new beginners… It was quite intimidating as I wasn’t really sure what I could teach her, I’ve only been runnning [...]
Last week I had the privilege to photograph Steph & Chalie’s little angel, Layla…what a beautiful baby!
I know this post is not directly related to my business or my regular photo shoots, but I just had to blog about this…My boyfriend’s birthday was a week ago and I organized a helicopter flip for him. Unfortunately it was raining the whole day and so we had to postpone until today. It was absolutely the greatest experience I’ve ever had. It was so much fun! (Special thanks to AD for making it possible!)
Today I had the privilege of taking photos of little benjamin. He was so cute and by watching him through my lens, I just once again realized that babies are absolute miracles!
I’ve been working on Adobe Lightroom for the last 4 months and I absolutely love it! I love the fact that I can flip through all my RAW images really quickly..select the ones I want to work on and with no delay it opens up for editing…it just works!
Lightroom has all the main features for photographers such as colour correction, brightness, aperture settings, levels etc etc. But something that it missed till now was a tool similar to the dodge and burn tool in Photoshop. But now with Lightroom 2 they added such a feature. I tested it out today and it work wonders!
