I recently received this email form Lizelle, the editor of Bride’s Diary and I really appreciated it.

When I do family shoots or shoots of children I always go to the people’s house. I find it works much better, especially because the kids are much more relaxed in their own environment. For a photographer it’s also much more interesting than a studio, because each house is different and you have to be creative with what you have available.
I had the privelage of shooting a shoot with Jules Morgan last week. It was great fun! We played around allot and I’m so excited about these shots!
The web is so cool! I’m crazy about it! I love it and I can’t go without it! I redesigned my website some time ago. It was launched in the 1st week of May this year and every now and then I check my google analytics to see who actually visits my website and where [...]
On saturdays there is the greatest little slow food (fresh goods) market in Stellenbosch at Bosman’s Crossing. The market is on from 9am to 2 if I’m correct and they sell lots of food goodies, such as olive oil, organic honey, fruits & vegetables, pestos and sauces, fresh waffles and crêpes, sushi and wine. It’s a great outing [...]
My boyfriend iaan started training kickboxing 12 years ago. He is not actively fighting anymore, but is training at home in his free time.
I’ve never done a shoot with dogs before, but I had a client that wanted some portraits taken of her 2 dogs…and these were my favourite…
Tom is a little guy I’ve photographed before and so I’ve had the privilege to photograph him again…I absolutely loved the curly hair!!! He was quite busy and ran around allot and so I gave him a book to read and it was so cute while “reading” it :)
This little one is was so cute! Look at those eyes!
This is my last week in Dubai and then it’s back to South Africa for me. I’m quite looking forward to starting the next season of photography. But this last week I’ll just be chilling out with my mom in Dubai. The other day my mom took me to the Bastakia in Bur Dubai which is one of the city’s most picturesque heritage sites…it was around 50 degrees outside with high humidity, so these photos are just a few ones I could take before I almost fainted :)
