ometimes I wish I could just press the pause button. Look around, see the world standing still and then I will have enough time to do everything I have to and want to do. If I have to explain the past few months in words, it would include: crazy, awesome, exciting, wonderful, out of the ordinary and a total roll a coaster ride!
Sweden was never on my lists to visit. I never thought of going that north, but when things changed. Cissy and Andy booked me for their wedding in Uppsala, a small town close to Stockholm, Sweden. On the one side I was a bit nervous, because I had no idea what to expect. I wasn’t sure what a traditional Swedish wedding was like and my other concern was the language. What if I didn’t understand the guests? But on the other hand, I was super excited to see a place I knew nothing about.
The past few weeks have been an absolute journey! And all started with shooting a wedding in Sweden.

I have a little confession to make: while organising my own wedding, I’ve realised that there was a little girl inside of me. One that wants to laugh, dance and have fun. One that wants to dream, wants to sing (even though it’s only any good in the shower :) and one that wants to dance with no worries in the world. No worries about work or grown-up stuff, just play and have a cupcake!
In some weird and wonderful way the Internet has put me in touch with some super cool people. I’m a big believer in twitter, Facebook and obviously blogging! The reason, well it’s simple… It just works! As a matter of fact, the Internet makes the world a really small place. It brings you in contact with so many people and specifically people with similar interests. Last night I had the privilege to meet some of the faces behind Facebook ;)
Just to let you know, I’ve organized a photographer’s get together in London for this coming monday (9 August 2010). It’s open to anyone. Pro & amateurs! Anyone welcome…just to meet, great & eat :)

I bought the You and Your wedding magazine the other day, here in London and there falls out an extra booklet about beautiful DIY ideas and flowers. I picked it up and then I looked at the cover. I knew that picture! I took it!! I paged through and there, in the magazine, was Fran & Paul’s wedding! A big happy dance for this one!
