Eretia was one of my very first friends in primary school. I moved to another school the year after. Her family moved around the world a few years later and then we kind of lost track. One super random day I was shooting a wedding and Eretia walked up to me. So funny how the world can be such a small place after all. It was her friend getting married that day and she was a guest. And about a year later she mailed me and booked me for her and Gustav’s wedding later this year.
During our visit to London, Iaan and I met up with them. We caught up from being ’6 -year-old-pony-tailed-girls’, to where we were now, 22 years later. Facebook obviously played a part in ‘kind of knowing’ bits and pieces from each other’s lives. But with cups of coffee in our hands, we chatted like old friends.
And then it was time to take some pictures of the two of them. With the Olympics being in London, we had some fun spots to use, like this cool running track design that was printed on one of the design museums.
