One of my goals for 2012 was to add more workshops to my schedule. The past year has been quite busy and there wasn’t any time, but this year I’m planning ahead! And finally it’s here! The dates you’ve all been asking me about :)

So firstly, why do I do workshops? It’s simple. I love sharing. I love meeting new people. I love inspiring and empowering photographers. And most of all, I love to see people blossom in something they love! So, if you’re a photographer that would like to learn more about the business of photography, you’re welcome to read more about my workshops for 2012 below.

What can I expect?

My workshops are intimate, fun, practical and we talk a lot!

The main purpose of the two day wedding photography workshop will be to help, educate and inspire photographers about the wedding industry and to help them build a strong photography business.

This workshop is open to only 12 attendees at a time and I will work on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that this workshop is suitable for wedding photographers that have a basic knowledge of photography and have at least 1 year of experience.

The workshop is a two day intensive experience, with lots of talk, sharing, Q&A time, as well as a practical & gorgeous styled shoot by the www.theprettyblog.com team.

During these two days, I will share about the following:

• Equipment I use
• Styled shoot (practical)
• Client meetings & Pricing
• Photography tools that rock
• Office workflow
• Digital workflow
• Getting published

• Album layouts tips
• And lots of Q&A time
• This workshop also include snacks, lunch, tea and coffee for both days.

The Lightroom workshop is a one day workshop, that focusses on the basics of Lightroom and digital workflow. This workshop includes the following:

• What is the difference between Lightroom and Photoshop?
• Basic digital workflow, backups and filing
• Getting to know my way around Lightroom
• The library mode (filing structure)
• The develop mode (editing)
• Presets and how to create my own
• Print mode
• Exporting and saving
• Blogging tips (file sizes and quick ways to get your files ready for blogging or online)
• This workshop include snacks, lunch, tea and coffee.

Wedding Photography workshop dates (two days, only 12 people per workshop):

25- 26 August (Saturday), Stellenbosch area, investment R4500 SOLD OUT!!

EUROPE:

19-20 July, London, styling of the shoot will be done by Louise from b.lovedweddings! So exciting! (investment 440 Pounds)

Date: 19 & 20 July (a dinner is included on the night of the 19th for those that want to join, drinks are for your own account)
Venue: The Make Lounge, 49-51 Barnsbury Street, London N1 1TP (see their website for details)
Investment: 440 Pounds (550 Euro) – this includes snacks, light lunch and a yummy dinner the evening of the 20th

Lightroom workshop dates (max 30 people) :

18 August (Saturday) Lightroom Workshop (Stellenbosch area, investment R1750)

Payment: London, PayPal payments (50% reservation and 50% due the week before). SA workshops R1500 to reserve your seat and the rest the week before the workshop)
