Whenever anyone starts their own business, I get very excited! I fell in love with business over the years, as I have experienced that it can be a very creative adventure. As a business owner, you have to think of new ideas, interesting strategies and creative solutions to tell the world about your product or service.

The journey of creating your own brand and building it from the ground up, is a very challenging and fulfilling one. When Liz asked me to be a photo contributor for her new business Still The Sea, I was flattered!

I met Liz a few months ago, while she was visiting South Africa. Liz used to be a lawyer in New York city, but after starting a family with her husband, Conor, she left the corporate world. Instead of the hustle and bustle of the New York law scene, she is now pursuing her own business called Still the Sea.

At first, Liz asked me to contribute to her project by sending her some photos for the background of her website. I’ve never sold stock images before, so this was quite exciting :) After she bought a few images, she asked me if I’d be interested in shooting her whole product range! She shipped all the product to South Africa for me to photograph her products in the breathtaking South African scenery.

Thank you for the oppertunity Liz, I wish you all the success in the world!

That is truly exciting and very cool pics.

I had a look at the website and it is such a small world. I was reading her husband’s book on reuniting children in Nepal with their families in May this year (actually on the trip when my fiance and I got engaged (“,) ) And when I visited her site I recognized the one photo on her website.

Thanks for helping me find her site.

    P.S. It’s a fantastic, inspirational book
