When iaan and I went on honeymoon, I decided to take along only a little point and shoot camera. I find that my SLR is just too big when I travel. I don’t always feel like carrying such a big camera around. So, I recently bought myself a canon S95, to keep in my handbag for those moment where I wish I had something more than my iPhone. The reason I decided on the S95 was because of it’s small size, but also because of it’s custom functions. And an added bonus: this little one can shoot in RAW! It also has f-stop 2.0 which I totally adore! It also gives you full manual settings.

Last Wednesday, iaan and I flew to Johannesburg and as we ascended, we flew past the most beautiful clouds I’ve ever seen! In this situation, the little point and shoot was perfect. I hope this camera will encourage me to shoot more of my and iaan’s life and experiences.

    Ek wil ook so graag ‘n kleiner kamera kry voor ek op honeymoon gaan! My compact was laas jaar gesteel en ek het nog nie kans gekry om ‘n nuwe een te koop nie :( Dis lekker om altyd ‘n backup te he wanneer jy sulke goed wil afneem – veral as mens se foon maar crappy kwaliteit is!
