I love birthdays! When I was a little girl, my parents use to wake me up with balloons and presents, walking into the room, singing Happy Birthday.

This Friday started a bit different. :) Iaan and I got back from the USA the Thursday and we were totally jet lagged on the Friday! We woke a bit disorientated on the Friday, when we were finally up, iaan made me a yummy breakfast. It was my first birthday being married and it was awesome! Knowing my best friend was there even though I felt jet lagged was great :)

I opened my computer and there was an email from my mom. This is what she wrote:

Birthdays make me feel sooo special and Friday was one of those days. Thank you for every Facebook message! And yes I think this year was the record! I had more than 250 messages on my wall by the end of Friday! Thank you for taking the time to write me a wish! I’m still busy replying, but it’s going to take me a few  days it seems :) Also a big thank you for the flowers and all the presents! You guys made my day!!

Thank you to my mom and dad for the awesome family supper on Friday, you added the cherry on the top! Love you guys!

So what’s up for my 27th year….well, all I can say is watch this space! This is only the start! :)
