After Louis and Leverne’s wedding (coming soon!), Iaan and I had a glorious two weeks on a road trip through Namibia. Neither of us had been there before, but have always wanted to see the amazing landscapes people told us about.

We drove a few hundred, if not thousand kilometers in those two weeks, but it was worth every kilometer. The skyline, landscapes and sunsets were amazing. We saw so many animals and really up close!! Africa is just a magical place! And my heart will always be in Africa.

Apart from weddings, travel photography is one of my very favourite things to do. Here are some of my favourite scenic shots.

Christine I LOOOOVE your Rhino and Zebra shots! And those jumping shots?.. TOO COOL!! Looks like you had an epic time!

I work in the safari business and your wildlife shots are some of the best I’ve seen. I love the processing you did on them. Excellent.

    Love the rhinoceros photographs.

Ha Ha Ha, het nou so lekker gegiggel vir die laaste foto wat jy opgesit het van die olifant se mooi boudjies. Dit lyk omtrent of daar moet staan, “the end”. Jou foto’s is baie besonders, laat my sommer na Namibia verlang.

En wow, jou fotos van Namibie is verskriklik mooi. Dit lyk soos fotos uit ‘n tydskrif.

Gorgeous! My sister used to live in Swapkopmund and I visited her in 2004. Sky dived over the coastline, woo! These pics bring it all back. x

I am soooo glad that you are back, as I have had withdrawal symptons, unable to look at new shots done by the genius that you are! I wish you and Iaan all the happiness for your future together!

Which model of Canon P&S did you use with these shots. They are so good, it looks like they were taken with a SLR. Just goes to show, it isn’t the camera that makes a good photo, it is the person taking the photo!

  12. 24/11/2010 , 5:45 pm

Incredible photos Christine! And a big congrats too.
I’m going to remember to keep “awesome photographic destinations” in mind when I’m planning my honeymoon one day! :)
