If there is one store that I would loooove to open up in South Africa it would be Starbucks. It’s the coolest coffee place and I just love the look and feel of it. The funny thing is I’m not actually a coffee drinker, but I love a Latte! With a single espresso. So while we were standing in the line for my Vanilla Cinnamon Latte, I snapped a few photos to remember the look, feel and smell of yummy coffee.

i just have to chime in here, after spending so much time in cape town lately, i must say thay starbucks coffee has nothing on vida in cape town! (i am saying this as a person who has overdosed on too much bad coffee from starbucks) ..although vanilla lattes are nice once in a while:) love the photos, as always!

I sooooooooo agree Christine! I love and frequet Vida and Seattle in SA, but would be over the moon if Starbucks opened up here!

My sister has actually emailed them on a yearly basis since about 2005 to ask, beg and plead. So far the same answers “no, but maybe in the future”. We hang on to the dream that one day it will happen.

But in the meantime we use our Starbucks mugs that I bought when there and sip the Starbucks coffee (we get friends to send us Starbucks coffee beans), as that is the closest we can get to right now!

Your awesome photos have made me feel like I am back line queueing for my favourite java!

Christine, you have no idea how much I miss Starbucks. I can still taste the Caramel Macchiato, feel the warmth when you run into a Starbucks to escape the cold, the vibe behind the counter, finding a spot at a table and watching the world go by…

It’s one of the things I love about London. I hate the winters over here, but I LOVE my Starbucks!!! Always makes me smile and brightens up a grey day :)
