It’s been almost 2 weeks since iaan and I left South Africa on a 22 hour flight to the USA. Our first city to visit was New York City. It was freezing cold, with an icy wind howling through the streets. I put on my boots, jacket and there we went. We walked and walked and walked, just looking at all the shops and the billboards. We just observed, took in and snapped my camera. The red bus tour. The apple store. Central Park. Yellow cabs driving by. Pizzas the size of a table. Subways. Brand names. Lights. Sky rising buildings. Hot dogs on the street. Bottomless coke….

Awesome pics Christine! I love New York! I was never interested in going there, the many historic cites of Europe is where I always enjoyed travelling to. Then a few years ago I spent two weeks in NY and I totally fell in love with every aspect of the city! I saw so much and did so much in those two weeks, but I definitely want to go back to see more and more!
