Giving is one thing I feel very strongly about. I know for a fact I have sooo much to be grateful for and giving back is one thing I can to to help other people. My friend Adii, Mr Rockstar himself, started the Rockstar Foundation a few months ago. This non-profit organization provides full academic bursaries to exceptionally bright young girls from impoverished and disadvantaged communities in Cape Town, South Africa.
I believe that this non-profit is making a difference in not only the girls’ lives, but it will impact their whole family and later community. You can read more about the foundation on their blog.
I met the 2 rockstar girls, Mariana de Sousa & Okuhle Mayiji the other day when I did a photo shoot for them. For a little while I was able to see the world through the eyes of a child again. Children just have a way in them to have fun, to laugh and to give you hope. Children are precious. Invest in them.
*The two other girls are Dominique and Mariaane. They are part of the Rockstar Foundation team.

Thank you so much Christine! I personally had so much fun and I know this made a huge impact on both of our girls. I can’t wait to show them and their families the photos!!! They are going to be ecstatic .. they are all so beautiful and capture each girl PERFECTLYYYY! Lots of good things are heading your way for being so eager to do good and make a difference. YAY you :)
Thank you again for these incredible pictures, Christine! As Dom said, they perfectly capture the personalities of both girls. I can’t wait to show these to Okuhle and Mariana!
What makes it even more fantastic is the fact that we can all look back at these pics one day and remember how it all started out for the Foundation!
Thanks again for being so generous with your time, you really are an amazing person! :)
These are lovely! Really lovely!
