Helena & Henri have been traveling the world and currently they are living in Tokyo, Japan. Helena and I went to school together and I’ve been keeping tack of her life on Facebook ever since. (Seriously how did we do it without Facebook??) One day I received an email from Helena that said she wanted to book me for her wedding. I knew this was one I couldn’t miss! She is seriously the most relaxed bride I’ve ever seen! She was chilling in the lounge, getting her hair done. Her mom showed me the dress as Henri popped around the corner. I was a bit confused. Wasn’t the groom supposed to not see the the bride before the ceremony. Nope, these two weren’t going for ANY traditions. They explained to me that they actually had a civil wedding in Tokyo a year ago and today was more for family and friends. What an interesting way to do it! And why not?
We were walking on the Langverwagt estate in search of some photo spots when I saw this little piece of grass and some stunning light. We did all their photos in a radius of literally 3 x 3 meters and Helena & Henri was willing to do anything! Even lying down on the floor was no problem at all! Thanks so much for trusting me! I’ll do a shoot of you any day!
