Nikki and I studied Graphic design together, thereafter we (nikki, iaan and myself) opened a business called Creative Lounge, which specialized in many different aspects of Graphic Design. Nikki was the head of the wedding stationary department and Iaan was the head of the web design, I on the other hand was so busy with my photography that I hardly had time to do anything else. Soon Nikki started to persue her photography career and she was an instant success! We then had a big meeting and decided it would be best for all of us to close Creative Lounge and to split up the business, so that each person could run their own thing. Nikki still did the stationary on a part time basis, but she is now so fully booked with her photography, that she decided to put all she has into it! Check out her blog for some beautiful work! Iaan started PlusPlusMinus, the web company and Nikki and I are both full time photographers. (thats’s the story about Creative Lounge in very short…but now you know how it all fits together :)

The actual reason for the post is to celebrate the awesome and very exciting engagement between Nikki and Kappie her fiance! Nikki and Kappie are getting married this weekend and I’m super stoked to be a guest at their wedding. My amazing friend Lizelle Lotter will be shooting their wedding, so keep out an eye on her blog for the inside scoop of the beautiful day…
