Henry Chen, Iaan and I drove into Jacobsbay the afternoon of the 18th of December. It was a windy but sunny day and the skies were super blue. It’s something I absolutely love about the west coast. Blue skies! In the little town were white washed houses scattered everywhere, overlooking the ocean. In the distance was a huge ship reck, that looked like a block of flats in the ocean. Things out of the ordinary excite me and those were one of them. I could just see the pics :)
I headed to Getha’s house and Henry headed out to the guys. We did some pre-shots and then headed to the “first look” as Jasmine calls it. Getha and Llewellyn saw each other before the wedding, to take all the group shots and some of their couple shots. It gave me more time for photos which was an absolute plus!
Their car was incredibly cool! And made for some super fabulous shots! My camera fell in love with the white interior and red exterior. Don’t you just love it!
At sunset, or better known as the “golden hour” we headed out to the beach to get some more couple shots. This is DEFINITELY the best time of the day for photos. Soft golden light!
Llewelynn and Getha, you were such an awesome couple! Thanks for allowing me to capture your day! It was an honor!

Tips for brides: if you plan your wedding make sure you allow enough time for photos and most important that you schedule your photo shoot within the “golden hour”. If not, your seriously missing out!
