Awesome shots but you where pretty lucky to get such a great photogenic couple :)
My favourites are the black and white ones in this part and especially in part 1!
@Ronel I’m sorry you feel that way. I received tons of positive feedback about the photos and it’s also been chosen by Top Billing Magazine to be featured in their March issue.
What would you have liked differently? (side note, remember this is the second post about the wedding, there are more shots under the Part 1 post :)
I agree, these are amazing shots and I am sure Ryan and Lee are very happy with them. As I said before…I think Christine is one of the best, if not the best, photographers whose work I have seen. I am a huge fan of Ryan Graham’s work so I couldn’t wait to see these images, THEY ARE AWESOME!!!! I always wondered who Ryan would get to do his wedding photos. They made a brilliant choice.
Christine, if you weigh up the comments, Ronel’s can pretty much be disregarded as the overwhelming feedback has been that these are fantastic pictures, which they are. As Marygane said, if she felt there was some constructive criticism to give, she should explain herself…
Let the “odd, out of place” negative comment stay on your blog… it just stands out as exactly that, out of place. Keep up the great work.
Christine, I love your work, these photos included!
I think it’s great that you acknowledge and publish negative comments with the positive, as they create an opportunity to learn from them and for growth. Every one is also entitled to their own likes, dislikes and opinions. It’s just a pity that not all of the negative comments are informative or constructive.
mmm Ronel…at least say what you didn’t like… The fact that you just leave a negative comment with no explanation smacks of malisiousness to me. Constructive negative feedback is good, but not nastiness.
xoxo
My biggest problem with these photos are that I didn’t take them ;) Christine, you are a stunning photographer and so extremely brave to put this comment of @Ronel on, it just shows what kind of person you are. You are personal and professional, you take everything into account, and that makes you an even better photographer.
I’d bet that this comment made you real sad, but dont be, you are excellent and a lot of great photographers think so too, they cant all be wrong.
Jou besigheids etiek is ongekend. Jy is ‘n formidabele vrou en in my opinie “at the top of your game”.
Jy is ‘n ware kunstenaar in jou gebied. Vang spesiale oomlike vas vir ewe! Hou so aan!!!
Hi Christine – hierdie foto’s is – soos altyd – ongelooflik!!
Ronel, You are quite mistaken! Christine is the best photographer I have ever seen in any country! I’m a published photographer in the US, and I know she is in a category of her own! Her work is AMAZING!
Christine….stunning pics as always! Ronel, yes taste do vary but this top quality us photographer wouldnt have settled for great photos. He wanted top quality & out of this world photos & that is why he chose Christine. The photos are unique & no-one on this earth will have similiar wedding photos. What makes Christine a top world class photographer is that no 2 weddings look the same – something I cant say of most wedding photographers. That is what set u aside from the rest.
When I read Ronel’s comment, I thought that it must’ve been a friend making a joke or playing a nasty trick on you. Even some one who who has absolutely no knowledge about photography or art will agree that these photos are absolutely breathtaking and insanely beautiful. Well done on getting this job, it is an honour when one is chosen to capture the special day of a fellow wedding photographer.
Let’s put ego and attitude aside and get real. These photo’s are quite simply photojournalistic pieces of art. Yes, we are all entitled to our opinions and taste, as long as we are coming from a place of truth, without intent to hurt someone. High Five Christine…sadly some people don’t quite understand art or it’s value.
I have been following your work for a while through your blog and was, like so many other, eagerly awaiting the posting of Ryan’s wedding photos when it became public that you were shooting his wedding.
I’ve been at a wedding where Ryan was the photographer and saw his work after that particular wedding, what I found very impressive of your work here is how you incorporated the style of work that Ryan loves to create. I believe it is only a true artist that can understand what their client wants and then go the extra mile to provide them with the detail, quality and style that they love.
hey hey hey..u never seem to dissapoint. Art at its best. well done. really enjoy the shots. legend
Awesome shots but you where pretty lucky to get such a great photogenic couple :)

Great work and very inspiring.
Really Awesome stunning shots! Enjoy the variety and the black and whites!
Love the shots in the alleys of Kalk Bay. The reception looked like one big party!
Christine… YOU ARE A LEGEND! These are GORGEOUS!
Wow! The pic`s are really stunnig! Love all of them.
Great work…..well done !
I am inspired!
CONGRATULATIONS Ryan and Lee. You both looked gorgeous.
Looks like the day was a raving success and Christine definitely did you justice with the photos.
Gaynor & Loren
Ek sou teleurgesteld gewees het in my foto’s as ek Ryan was.
@Ronel I’m sorry you feel that way. I received tons of positive feedback about the photos and it’s also been chosen by Top Billing Magazine to be featured in their March issue.

Ronel, I have no idea what you mean. If you want to post a negative comment you can at least be a bit more specific.
Christine, these pictures look amazing to me. I’ll book you for my wedding any day! ;)
Wow Ronel…

Hallo Skattebol-
Ronel WIE? Sies man.

Hou so aan.
