Two years ago I photographed Juan. He’s a natural in front of the camera! At that stage Francois wasn’t born yet and yesterday I had the privilege to photograph both of the little boys at their home in Stellenbosch. It’s so interresting to see how kids’ personalities differ. Juan sits still and looks at the camera, Francois on the other hand was busy all the time and didn’t like this camera looking at him :)
*Tip for photographers: To get the most natural shots of kids between ages 2 and 5. Give them something to play with, read or look at, in that way your are keeping them busy and their attention is not on the camera. In this way you might get a shot of a natural laugh in stead of a fake grin :)

These are awesome photos and I love the little boys’ blue eyes! I also adore the shoes shot from behind as I can just imagine what he was doing and thinking while playing with them!!
