A client recently asked me why I always photograph the shoes, I thought I’d probably need to explain the situation :) … I’m not a high heel girl myself, just because they kill my feet! And I really adore my flats and with my job, I really need to be comfortable. But I do appreciate shoes. I actually adore them!! They are soooo beautiful, it’s a form of design. And being a design addict, shoes fall into my “love them all the time and always” category. There are so many aspects to them and to photograph them is one of my favourite shots of the day! I know this sounds weird, but really, don’t you think this is just beautiful? One of my dreams is to publish a book with all the shoe shots I’ve taken. Shoes are awesome!
Christine, I feel your ‘pain’. I am also not a high heel girl, but I love looking at them. These Jimmy Choo’s are just amazingly beautiful.
The first thing I normally do when I get to a bride, is to see what their shoes look like!!!! And have I seen some great ones!
