Two weekends ago Adri and I drove through to Lizelle’s family farm in Caledon. Lizelle invited us for a delicious South Afican braai (barbecue). We sat in the sun, drove around on the farm and just chilled out. We had quite a big fright when a huge locust decided to join us in the car! He was jumping around and then we just freaked out! I wish someone had a camera! :)
Late that afternoon I did a family shoot for the Lotters. The shoot was so much fun! Everyone was running around and shooting and laughing, to be honest, some of these shots aren’t even mine! Some were taken by Adri, some by Lizelle and even some by her brothers. It was a shooting madness and laughs flying everywhere! What a fun family!
These are amazing. Your understanding of light is exceptional. I’d love to know how you managed to get the lighting with the detail in some of your shots. Truly gifted you are. Thanks for sharing them.

Dis crazy cool! Presies hoe die familie is – veral op die plaas waar hulle vry is. Hulle is dinamies, kleurvol, lewendig en bietjie mal! Die foto’s wys dit! love julle almal!
Waar daar vreugde is…..daar is Lizelle en Christine :) Oomblikke wat meer as ‘n leeftyd sal hou, dis wat jul vasgevang het op kamera, pragtig! Elke familie behoort sulke kosbare foto’s te hê :)
