This was truly the most magnificent wedding I’ve ever been to! Every wedding in my opinion is special and spectacular because it’s the place where two people make a promise for the rest of their lives! But Estelle and Pieter’s wedding just had that extra little bit of “specialness”! It was a farm wedding, in style!
Estelle’s dream has always been to get married on their farm in Swellendam and on my first site visit I realized why. The farm is surrounded with mountains and wild flowers and the whole setting was something like out of a movie!
I arrived at the guest house where the girls got dressed and Estelle was all smiles. I turned around and then I saw her dress… It was a true work of art! Absolutely stunning!
While I was capturing the girls getting ready, Theresa (my second shooter for the day), captured all the other activities. The guest were arriving at the dam, where the ceremony took place.
Estelle came walking towards the ceremony with her dad and their dog, Milla. The ceremony took place out in the open surrounded by beautiful mountains.
The reception was held on the farm under a bedouin tent with the most beautiful decor! Aleit, Hayley & the rest of the team you guys did an awesome job!
The wedding took place during the day, so I suggested that we only do the couple photos later the afternoon. I’m so glad we did… look at the results…
