Who would have thought the 26th of September would be a rainy day in Cape Town? I don’t think anyone did, but it sure was! I was however very very lucky, I had a morning wedding that day.
Ross arrived with his helicopter a few hours before the wedding, as the weather was turning dark and grey. I was just in time to catch the landing!
After the ceremony I search around for a few spots to shoot and then Frans from FJS told me about the blossoms he spotted. I’ve been wanting to photograph a bride in the blossoms for a very long time and that day was my first ever. The venue La Petite Dauphine had a spectacular display of the most amazing white blossoms and I was super excited! I almost turned all these shots into black and white, because the texture is just so magnificent! But I held back and decided to publish some colour ones too :)
