The team at Charly’s Bakery was so kind so sponsor my workshop with a beautiful wedding cake. The cake was suppose to be photographed, blogged about and at the end I was going to supply them with some fab photos of the wedding cake. But unfortunately the cake never made it to my house, as the driver had to make an emergency brake and there tha cake flew all over the car…so then I offered to do another shoot for Charly’s. As they say all things happen for a reason and so I ended up being Charly’s official photographer for the Loerie Awards this year!
The Loerie Awards is the most prestigious advertising awards in South Africa. The Loerie Awards recognize and reward creative excellence.
This year the pre-party to the awards was held at Charly’s Bakery. The whole parking lot behind Charly’s was covered by a tent and the colours and ideas were out of this world! This years awards’ theme was “Feed your ego”. The eats were supplied by Charly’s and the celebration of colour was super cool! You guys did a superb job!

If the cake we never got to eat at the workshop looked half as good as anything in this post, then I’m horribly disappointed we never got to eat it! The COLOURS. Oh, the beauty. And I want that crazy red and black one for my wedding. Wait, I’ve already had a wedding. Dangit.
