Daniella contacted me a few weeks ago to shoot their wedding in Plettenberg bay, unfortunately it didn’t work out, but when she read about the “trash the dress” session on my price list and she was very interested. They got married on 09/09/09 and then returned to Cape Town, before they return to the UK.
The couple lived in Cape Town for some time and fell in love with it. Doing the shoot in the “signature” areas of Cape Town, such as the colourful houses in the Bo Kaap and Long street was their ideal setting for the photo shoot. Daniella loved the idea of putting on her wedding gown but to trash it was not really the idea :)
Thank you guys for giving me the opportunity to do the shoot for you! I hope these photos will remind you of our beautiful mother city Cape Town! Thank you to Tracy for assisting me!

haha! Jy’t op die brug uitgekom!! awesome! Ek LOVE die Bo-Kaap fotos!!
What absolutely beautiful pics. The concept/art direction is so different to the stereotypical wedding photography.
Beautiful! The backdrops are wonderful, but there’s a lot more to the pics than that! They would still be lovely in front of a concrete wall :-)
Love the photos of them walking up the street with her veil blowing to the side, an the hat photos!
Gorgeous! Love all the colours!
These are fantastic Christine!
thank you so much for taking me along! and for the mention :)
the photos are AWESOME – so great to play a little part in it all, and its fantastic to see the end product after being there… you really give the photos so much feeling!

So smaakvol en stylvol, absolutely beautiful! Love die foto’s in die straat en die Bo-Kaap kleure is baie funky! Haar rok, baadjie en hoed is ook stunning.
wow love the long street pics!
Wonderful! Gotta love Cape Town :) Great work!
I really like your photos. The one of the couple walking down the busy cape town street with their backs to us is excellent.
Christine, the colours of the walls make an incredible backdrop – are amazing! the beautiful bride made me think of Eliza Doolittle! Great shots once again!x
