Dubai: the last stop

So why has this place been so quiet?  Well, mainly because I’ve been on holiday. :) Seems like us wedding photographers have all our holiday bundled up in the winter months and then when summer hits it’s work work work, weekend in and out!

The past two weeks I’ve been soking up some sun in the very hot and humid Dubai. The temperature ranged between 42 and 46 degrees Celsius! As most of you probably know by now, my parents live out here in the desert. Spending some time with my family was great. Tomorrow morning I’m flying back to South Africa for my friends’ Alexe and Rynie’s wedding. If seriously been trying hard to get some editing done here, but I don’t seem to have much luck. I promise you that Lightroom will be working very hard next week! Two new weddings and the Botswana photos to come soon!

But for now I only have these pics of iaan and I in Dubai :) Yes! iaan joined me and it was so great to spend some time with him too.

Have a close look at these photos, because they’re probably the only decent ones I got out off the whole trip! The humidity and heat is so bad, that my camera fogged up all the time!

Going up in the lift to have the most expensive cocktail I’ve ever had! R120 for one cocktail!

I followed your shenanigans on twitter, You’re one of only a handful I follow on Twitter outside of my field. I couldn’t wait to see your images, as I said before I really like your photo style. Please post more GREAT pics.
