“Travel like Gandhi, with simple clothes, open eyes and an uncluttered mind” Kathrine Naido, SAA employee

Here is a little bit out of my diary from my recent trip to France and Portugal:

“Traveling opens your eyes, it challenges your perceptions and pre-conceived ideas. It changes your views on the world. And makes you ask many questions.

When you travel it stimulates your creativity. It makes you think about things beyond your every day life. It takes you out of your safe place and shows you a bigger picture of what the world is like.

To travel is to learn. It’s to learn about other people and about the world, but mostly it teaches you about yourself.

The biggest step, when traveling, is to get out of your comfort zone. It is there where you learn. It’s then when you start to think and ask questions. It is there where you find who you really are and also find who you really want to become.

I find it’s here where my ideas start and the excitement for new projects and ideas take flame.”In my recent travels I took some really random photos, a few super tourist ones (I think you’ll always have them) and then I also focused on the detail of the environment. This is the first post of seven posts to come, about my travels.

Not so long ago I saw your photo’s of Juan and Adele’s wedding on Facebook, and that is were I got ‘hooked’.

Each photo has a story or emotion of it’s own. I love these traveling photos, and all I can say for now is double WOW.

    Can’t wait to see more.
