In general I’m someone who prefers staying in hotels, rather than youth hostels and backpackers, but I must say when I found this place on the net I fell in love with it! The Living Lounge hostel is situated in the heart of Lisbon and it’s only 10 months old. The building was recently renovated and changed into a stunning backpackers with the most amazing decor. Anything from 60s retro to old classics!

Every room has a different theme and it looks like this place should be featured in a decor magazine! Breakfast was included for only 30 Euro pp per night, for a private bedroom. I would definitely encourage anyone going to Lisbon to stay here. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were spotless.

    Stunning place and even more stunning photos! The murals on the walls and the details all over the place are amazing.You did an excellent job in caputuring everything.

    thanks for the tip.. it’s the same concept as daddy long legs hotel in Cape Town, for those overseas visitors :)
