After an amazing trip in Europe, I’m back home. The day before I left, I decided to leave my laptop at home and only take my camera. Sometimes I have to force myself to get away form the computer, because I think I’m addicted!
On my trip I had a good rest from all the demands of the industry and focused on other things that interest me. I think we should all take breaks from our daily routines every now and then and dream* again… (*more to come on this topic soon)
To all of you who have been waiting eagerly, I promise to blog some travel pictures soon and would love to hear your feedback. I didn’t focus on photos to much to be honest. But when I did photograph, I tried not to take to “touristy” kind of pictures, but rather some detail of the small things I think most people miss while traveling. My friend, Nadia thought I was crazy, photographing cool textures on walls and funky doors etc. But oh, well, that’s who I am. A crazy girl with a camera and a love for design!
Next week Iaan and I will be visiting Botswana to photograph a lodge. I’ll be away for a whole week, so I hope to do a few posts before then.
(Little note to all the regular blog readers: I missed you guys! All the comments coming through when I blog encourages me, excites me and sometimes provide a few giggles. It’s so great to get all these little notes from all over the world. Thanks for your support, love and encouragement! Hope to meet some of you in the next year! And yes, I’m still working on the workshops…please bear with me. I promise to blog as soon as everything is finalized!)

Can’t wait to your trip photos.
I might even have to make a trip to CT to get to one of your workshops, me thinks.
Welcome Back! I saw some of your travel photo’s on Facebook, and would love to see some more. Love the photo of the blue door – really cool.
