One year ago I received an email from Adriaan Pienaar, he was looking for a wedding photographer and at the bottom of his email was his signature that said “Adii: WordPress rockstar”. It sounded interesting and even though I had no idea what word-press meant at that time I clicked an found his website. At that stage I was desperate for a new site (Iaan was still studying at the time and had very little time to help me, and I wanted a new site like..YESTERDAY!) So I mailed him and after a cup of coffee the new site was on it’s way. The site was launched on the 1st of May 2008. Little did I know how great word-press was until I started using it! Adii really helped literally jump form 200 page views per month to 33,000 per month, to date, by building a custom design for my needs. Which included a blog, which I think was one of the first South African custom wedding photography blogs if I’m not mistaking…
Yesterday I did a shoot for him for publication and marketing. Here are some of my favourite shots.

I think the red sculpture in the background is good as it defines what Adii does – build things from the ground up – if that makes sense with how he works.

I like em, and also Adii didnt strike me as the prepper, but then again, perhaps thats whats under the whole rockstar image?? I would fancy a pic with a guitar tho LOL =) “come on, play that funky music white boy”
