Michelle & Anwar have been living in the Uk for the past few years, however when it came to orginizing their big day, they knew it had to be back home. They got married in a beautiful stone church in Constantia and the reception was held at Simon’s at Groot Constantia.
The tears were flowing as Michelle walked down the aisle and my favourite shot is the one where I caught her mom passing her a tissue. My other favourites are the cigar shots with the men. Thanks for playing a long guys!
The couple welcomed every guest as they entered into the reception area, which I thought was quite a nice gesture. I’m so impressed with my new Canon 5D Mark 2! These shots were done at 5000 ISO, with my 50mm 1.4 at 1/60th of a second with NO FLASH!

Love these!! As always… I just love the whites you get. It’s like you are able to perfectly color balance the images so that they look completely pristine. Just gorgeous. Must be wedding season down there, eh? I hope I get to go back to South Africa sometime in the next few years, I love it! My grandfather has a house in Port Elizabeth. :)
The bride looks impecable. & the photos flawless!
The most wonderful day with tears of joy and laughter. Everything was beautiful especially the bride, a real fairytale wedding which the photgraphs capture. Elegant and Magical!
Simply beautiful…you are so talented!
I love the photos of the guys with the cigars! Give them a hat, put them in denims, and it would remind me of those amazing photos of the labourers in the South. Love it!
Such a beautiful bride. Well captured in every picture… Nice snapshot of events for those unable to attend.
