René & Lee tied the knot on the 7th of February. When René came to meet me the week before I couldn’t believe how blue her eyes were and I immediately became excited to photograph their wedding. The wedding took place on Zevenwacht under a free form tent overlooking the dam. I was so excited when I arrived there and saw the overcast weather. My favourite!
René was definitely the most graceful bride I’ve ever photographed! The was so calm and just enjoyed every moment! I absolutely love the moments caught through the ceremony. Lee even went on his knees when he put René’s ring on her finger. BEAUTIFUL! On the day it was very hot and humid and so the ring struggled to get on her finger. But every second made great photos!
During the photo shoot there was a very loud rumble thunder and at that moment I was looking through the view founder and I managed to capture their faces looking up at the sky.
You might wonder what the shoe photos is all about: well, one of the bridesmaids broke her shoe as we walked around the estate and I it just had to be photographed. Enjoy…
