I arrived at Ongegund and it was boiling hot! Tara wasn’t sure weather she should keep the ceremony outside or wheather they should rather move it into one of the venue halls. But at the end she decided to keep it outside. It was a sunny day and the view was beautiful!…little did we know Tara was going to faint through the ceremony! Luckily she was ok after a bit of sugar water :)

Later on while I was photographing them in the vineyard I had a very weird and funny experience…I’m actually quite embarrassed to tell this part…but it’s so funny I have to! I was photographing with my 135mm prime lens, which means I have no zoom function. So as they were moving towards me I had to move back to keep them in the picture…and then I felt it! A lightning bolt from my bum down my leg…I walked right into the electric fencing! It was so painful! But so funny! So…my lesson for all the photographers out there: Check for electric fencing!

Hi Christine – just wanted to say how much I enjoyed viewing these beautiful pics. I wasn’t able to travel to CT for the wedding so it has been a special treat to see your pics and “feel” like I was there. Great job!
    Kind regards
    Barbara
