I really can’t believe I haven’t posted about this yet! But December was probably the crazies month of my life so far. I had 6 weddings in 1 week. So no wonder I got a bit side tracked and never made a post on my meeting with Gene Higa :)
I’m busy cleaning up my desktop and I came across these fun pictures of Gene Higa, Ann Hamilton, Jean Pierre Uys, Iaan van Niekerk and me. And then I realized I never told anyone…well now you know: I MET GENE HIGA & ANN HAMILTON :)
My friend David Jay hooked me up with Gene and Ann when they were over here in Cape Town to shoot a destination wedding. Gene and Ann shoot together on most destination weddings, even though they are both photographers in their own right.
Gene is rated as one of the top ten wedding photographers in the word! I was so privileged to drive them around Cape Town for a day and chat all the way. The next morning Jean Pierre, Iaan and I met up with them for breakfast. It was great meeting them and I learned so much!
I also met the famous Bogie the pug..not in real life, but I at least got a photo with him :)
