Leanie and Neil tied the knot in a wine cellar in Franschoek on the 10th of January. The couple have been living in London for the past few years and when I visited Europe in June 2008, I was fortunate enough to shoot an engagement session of them in the streets of London.
I’ve realized that very few people actually get photographed by a professional photographer except on their wedding day. It’s the only day you have to get those awesome pictures, so why not book an engagement session before the wedding, this gives you the opportunity to 1. get great informal shots of you and your partner and 2. helps you to get to know the photographer and 3. helps you to relax more on the wedding day, which 4. gives you better results on the photos.

The photos of her before the wedding with all the detail is beautiful! She looks a little bit like Uma Thurman (if you look at the top part of her face). Beautiful bride, love the portrait shots of her!
