I’m so stocked! My blog is rated as 82th in the country by the amount of reads! I actually just realized again how much you can achieve only through having a good, active and informative blog! I started blogging in 2007, but only actively since I have my new website (May 2008). My website stats have gone up from 200 visits per month before May 2008 to average 2000 visits per month, of which 1000 is unique visitors every month!

Up to date I’ve had more than 12, 000 visitors, 6000 unique visitors, for 92 different countries!

I use google analytics to get these stats and I would highly recommend you install it!

I’m not sharing this information with you to brag, but to encourage you to start a blog (especially photographers!) and to utilize it well! There are many free blog sites available like blogger, however I would encourage professional photographers to either modify it or get a blog that represents your personality and reflects your brand. You’re welcome to email Iaan form creative lounge for a blog quote. Not only is he my boyfriend :) but an amazing web designer too! He recently did Zara-Zoo’s blog and newsletter. He’s also busy finalizing the creative lounge website, which should be up before mid December…so keep your eyes open!

On this topic, I’m very eager to change the look of my site and maybe even my logo… I’d love to get some input for everyone that’s reading my blog. Please tell me what you think about my logo…what you like and dislike on my site and blog… What would you guys like to see more? Less? At the end of the day my blog is there for my readers and I’d love to give you what you’re looking for, but unless you tell me, I wouldn’t know.
