On saturdays there is the greatest little slow food (fresh goods) market in Stellenbosch at Bosman’s Crossing. The market is on from 9am to 2 if I’m correct and they sell lots of food goodies, such as olive oil, organic honey, fruits & vegetables, pestos and sauces, fresh waffles and crêpes, sushi and wine. It’s a great outing and it’s similar to the one in Cape Town at the old biscuit mill (even though it’s not a bit yet).
Saturday it was poring with rain, so we just made a quick stop there and I bought some new herbs for my garden. Basil, chives and mint.
I’m really excited for this summer season and spring is finally here (I hope)…and it’s time for fresh food and sun shine!!
I had the best smoothy/juice in Dubai and it’s so easy to make…
1 pineapple + 3 pealed apples + orange juice + ice + some fresh mint + a blender = a great sumer drink!
After spending some time in my garden :)
