This is my last week in Dubai and then it’s back to South Africa for me. I’m quite looking forward to starting the next season of photography. But this last week I’ll just be chilling out with my mom in Dubai. The other day my mom took me to the Bastakia in Bur Dubai which is one of the city’s most picturesque heritage sites…it was around 50 degrees outside with high humidity, so these photos are just a few ones I could take before I almost fainted :)
I’m not ever keen on sepia photos, but this architecture just worked for me in sepia. The walls of these buildings was build out of real coral and I loved the patterns on the buildings. It’s a pitty I couldn’t be outside for longer but the heat here is killing me!

you never disappoint and you’re right these pics do work in sepia. i’m enjoying the texture and detail on the close ups …
Hi Lee thanks for your compliment. Yes the detail is really beautiful!! I loved all the shapes and textures..hope to hear form you again :)
